Participated in the planning, tracking, and reporting on projects of varying contract types, size, complexity, and level of risk.  Responsibilities included significant interface with project managers, contracts personnel, senior technical personnel, as well as other support organizations. Cost/schedule baselines, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, and estimates at completion were established and maintained for each Program.  Earned value analyses were conducted. Project costs and commitments were monitored, along with schedule performance, and performance against the baseline. Implemented financial policies and procedures in support various projects and conducted the required monthly program reviews for these projects.

Responded to customer inquiries and specifications regarding mill capability. Assigned chemistry, dimensional tolerances, heat treatment, testing and inspection requirements, packing, marking and shipping requirements, etc., to all mill orders. Verified and approved all mill orders with respect to API, ASTM, and customer specifications prior to production and also initiated order changes, as needed. Performed internal mill audits. Verified and approved cross application grades of material. Costed customer inquiries as required by plant manager. Prepared necessary documentation for and participated in pre-production meetings. Maintained Metallurgical Index Code (MIC) database and Grade Acceptance tables.
